Pre Configured Solutions
Applsys consultants' extensive experience in Oracle applications enables us to come out with pre-configured solutions for start-ups and medium sized companies. The advantage is that in this model you jump start your implementation directly into training and testing thereby saving more than 50% of your implementation time. Pre configured solutions are very reliable and highly stable.
Oracle Business Accelerators
Applsys consultants are trained on Oracle Business Accelerators (OBA). OBA is a powerful, rapid implementation solution for implementing Oracle. Available in industry and country specific versions, OBA makes initial configuration of Oracle E-business suite simple, fast and predictable. Oracle says that while following the traditional approach will take between 90 to 180 days to reach testing stage; using OBA it will only take 7 to 14days. Using OBA you get the most reliable solution in a very short implementation period.
Process Training/ Application Training/ UPK Content Development
The user interaction with the system is directly proportional to the user training. Our implementation models have a two level training program. One is the process training done at an earlier stage to handle current operations and the other is application training done at a later stage of the implementation. While the former brings the users closer to the application, the latter instills confidence in them to administer applications themselves and reduce IT dependability. We do not practice preparing the traditional word/pdf training manuals. We use Oracle recommended User Productivity Kit (UPK) for content development.
Self Service Interfaces and Custom Components
Applsys consultants are constantly trained on latest technologies that help in delivering quality solutions. We no longer work on Oracle Reports but use Discoverer, XML publisher and BI tools to give you the best solution. Our data loading techniques are unique and our designs are based on customer culture. In situations where it takes time to collate data, for e.g. when we need to load huge volume of employee details, we deliver self service interfaces where an employee can directly enter relevant details in the form, rather than asking the data owner to capture it in an excel sheet. The intention is to ensure error free data and fast data entry.
Pre Live Support
Our implementation models do not include post-live support. Instead our processes ensures a smooth and complete knowledge transfer from setups to transactions and system administration that ensures that a customer can handle the application itself from the day after going live. We practice active Customer participation through its key users and our support technicians during all phases of the implementation for a better understanding and effective application support post live.
